Chris Vevers is the nucleus of Ukeleus  with special guest stars. Either as a solo performance or with a talented mix of friends the Ukeleus ensemble takes the ukulele into new and uncharted waters. Whether on stage or as a strolling or roving trio they are a hit.

From Punk to Folk from the Beatles to Lou Reed, from Duke Ellington to Patti Smith. Ukeleus can do wild electric sounds right through to soft acoustic jazz and folk numbers. The perfect group for a touch of theatre with some favourite old songs plus some challenging contemporary numbers.

Ukeleus plays where other uke groups fear to tread. For a whole evening or a 30 min set we will provide a musical sensation just for you.

Radio Ukulele

This is Chris’ solo theatre special. Imagine you have just walked into a live Radio show and you are a member of the audience. The warm up artist gets the audience going until the DJ for radio Ukulele FM 843 goes on air. With send up weather, commercials, time and station ID checks get all the fun of Radio City. With Jazz and Blues ukulele artists’, Chris plays all roles with quick costume changes and music when we suspend reality for a 30 min special uke production.
