SHOW FORMATS

CLOSE-UP (MIX & MINGLE) SHOWS

Close-up magic is a genre of entertainment increasing in popularity due to the strong impact on the audience.

From demonstrations of the card expert dealing six handed stacked hands to the restoration of cut string in the hands of the spectator this is strong magic.

Most people have seen the large illusions of the stage on TV. This genre of magic strips away the large props and gets the magic to happen right there in the audiences hands.

The versatility of close-up magic makes it ideal for mix and mingle functions; bar and restaurant work; corporate functions and trade shows.

Chris Vevers is one of the great exponent of this art and has years of experience in all situations.

LAS VEGAS – AUSOM POWERS – LOS MOJO REVUE

This is Canberra’s ONLY Las Vegas style revue show with up to 5 performers on stage at any one time. This show can be tailored to meet your staging needs and can fill the royal Theatre or be tailored to suit the smallest club stage. We provide complete event illusions in this show. WE pick some of the great classic songs of the sixties , Marvin Gaye, Martha and the Vandellas, The Commitments, James Brown and a host of others. Our professional dancers are not only hot stuff but along with Ausom make the audience roll with laughter at their comedy antics.

ONE MAN - ADULT CABARET SHOWS

These shows usually combine the best of close-up and Stage Magic. Chris performs half hour of Close-up magic, usually a break for patrons to have Dinner, then a half hour Cabaret Show. The Stage Show varies depending upon stage dimensions, anticipated size of audience etc. However, it will always provide a musical opening and closing piece and comedy stand-up with audience members.

The 1999 Blues Brothers Show, with option of one or two performers combines funky music and comedy. An Australian production, it has stage backdrops of Blue Sky and Red Earth and side drops of city scapes. It often features didgeridoo playing as a lead into original magic routines. The shows strength is its flexibility to fit most venue sizes.

The show can be tailored to suit the venue and the clients needs.
